Track/Trailing for Real life

Many law enforcement officers get their dogs and their training from private vendors.

While there are very good, ethical vendors out there, the vast majority do not give their dogs the proper foundation training in Tracking.  Why?

1.  The main reason they don't want to do this training as it is too time consuming for them, and cuts into their profit.

2.   Many vendors are still living in the early 1900's tracking philosophy and don't comprehend all that a dog can do with Scent Discrimination.

First and foremost, your police dog is a LOCATING TOOL !    Learn to use that tool and take your dog's capabilities into a overlooked arena of investigative work that will have your impact felt throughout the department and your community.

Search and Rescue handlers can also take this course, pending evaluation of their canine.  I won't take money from a team if their dog cannot do the job.  I also will not certify a team I have trained, but I can arrange for a certification while you are here, with a local K9 association.

"Last, but by no means least, courage-moral courage, the courage of one's convictions, the courage to see things through.  The world is in a constant conspiracy against the brave.  It's the age-old struggle-the roar of the crowd on one side and the voice of your conscience on the other."
